Please see HV’s position on club level hockey below. The FHC board at this stage will be following the advice of Hockey Victoria, so that means business as usual. The FHC board is continually discussing the situation and assessing the concerns of our members, coaches and sub committee members. We thank members for their patience and understanding in times that are certainly very unique and concerning to us all.
We would like to make it extremely clear that if anyone involved in FHC operations or members are feeling anxious, worried and would like to make a decision in the best interest of your family to stay away from club hockey, we will totally understand and support your decision. Please communicate this to your coach, coordinator or director and confidentiality will be maintained.
For players, please note your selection into a team for round 1 will not be affected if you chose to withdraw from hockey training, trials or practice matches. Selectors will be mindful of this information when they are looking at the selection criteria.
Please practice good hygiene, stay away if you are displaying any cold and flu like symptoms and please advise a director if you or a close contact is being tested for COVID-19.
