Hockey Victoria is excited to bring you Game Education Week.
This is a week dedicated to helping grow our community’s understanding of the game, across a wide variety of topics.
5 topics will be covered across the week, all being streamed online so that everyone can access the information from their own home.
The topics that have been confirmed are:
- Training Goalkeepers
- How to Plan & Run a Training Session
- Injury Prevention in Juniors
- Introduction to Indoor Hockey
- Umpire Psychology (TBC)
This looks to be a wonderful initiative by HV and I encourage all parents to sit in on the Injury Prevention in Juniors webinar.
I also encourage all Junior Coaches and all aspiring Junior Coaches to participate in the “Training Goalkeepers” webinar. Having that more specialised Goalkeeper knowledge is beneficial in keeping goalkeepers engaged and at the top of their game.
